This is an exciting, yet challenging, time in the history of the North Shore Commercial Fishing Museum. We are proud to see a tremendous growth in the Museum's programming and exhibit division guaranteeing the public an exceptional and educational experience. Yet at the same time, government funding and grants that support museum operations are being cut back. That is why your support of the Tofte Historical Society, the Museum's governing and fiscal body, is now more important than ever.

There are a number of ways you can support the continuing development of the North Shore Commercial Fishing Museum.

Membership Dues in the Tofte Historical Society help finance ongoing operational costs ranging from heating bills to archival materials.

Revenues from Life Memberships — supporters who are listed in the Museum's publicly displayed scrapbook — become part of a permanent endowment fund, providing ongoing support in the years ahead.

Honor a loved one by giving the gift of a Memorial in their name — Memorials are permanently displayed on a brass plated cork display in the Museum.

Give a Gift Membership to someone who is passionate about the North Shore.

Contributions

As a non-profit organization, donations are vital to quality of our programs. You can help by donating to our Pioneer Club Endowment Fund. All donations are tax-deductible.

And, of course, other important assistance includes contributions of historical artifacts or memorabilia and genealogical information about commercial fishing families for display in the Museum, helping with office and museum jobs as volunteers.

Contributions of historical artifacts or family genealogies are welcomed. Joining our Volunteer Corps means donating personal skills and time to the Museum. Want to get involved? Please e-mail us.
